I love Monopoly. I can honestly admit that I get a thrill destroying my family when we play monopoly. I pride myself on my Spades and Monopoly skills. Imagine my delight when I found the monopoly game in the iPhone Apps store. I don’t have an iPhone but I do have a touch. I immediately purchased the game and was ready to destroy, Unfortunately I was the one who got destroyed. 3 times on normal mode. I finally beat the game. The AI is good. You can’t just buy everything and put houses up, you will run out of money and the process of bidding on properties was a surprise. Basically if you land on a property and you don’t want to purchase, it goes up for bid. So it favors the person with more money. I’ll report back after I have it mastered. They do have a multi player mode and you can have additional play with you as long as they are on the same wifi network. It would be really cool if you could play across the internet.

Guitar Hero will soon include DJ Hero – I’m counting the days
Seriously, this game will sell very well. There are so many people out there like me who grew up with Grand Master Flash, Marely Mal, Jazzy Jeff, etc… Who among our generation didn’t pretend to scratch on old records. For those who didn’t grow up on old skool rap, this is like being able to be one of the Beatles or Rolling Stones. I can’t wait to do this with my kids. I saw this on Joystiq

Electronic Arts New Fight Night has Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson
I will love to play a game that has Muhammad Ali beating up on Mike Tyson. Hopefully it will be available on PC’s right away and not just consoles. I saw this on Joystiq.
Twilight Book for Mom and Daughter
My daughter asked me to purchase the first Twilight book for her last week. After we brought it home, my wife decided she needed to read some of it just to make sure it was ok for our daughter. I understand that caution. I purchased it for her because all her friends were reading it and talking to her about it. I think it’s better to let her read it and ask us questions about anything in the book. We have already had all the talks with her and she knows she can ask us anything. So, my wife started reading the book and got through half of the book before my daughter had to take it back from her. Usually my wife doesn’t like that genre, but there was something about Twilight she liked. I ran across this article in Newsweek that spoke to the mother daughter thing with Twilight.
First Tennis Match in over a year – Guess how I feel?
Well, I got back on the horse today. I played tennis with one of my friends. We played for almost 3 hours. He is much better shape than me. We did 2 out 3 instead of 5 our ot 7 because the match was going so long. My body feels like it was in a car wreck. I should really strat playing basketball again as well. Then I can feel like I was in a plane wreck.
According to this Tenniss Fitness site Tennis Fitness I should be able to use my Wii Fit and get all the exercise I need. Seriously, compare the exercise explanations on this site to the Wii Fit list.
